Sun State
Tree had the opportunity to demo the new Vermeer BC2000 XL brush chipper
a few days ago and the results are in. This machine is considered the
top of line in Vermeer's fleet of brush chippers. The "2000"
in it's model number signifies that it can chip limbs up to 20 inches
in diameter and after running 8 to 16 inch limbs through this unit there
is no denying this machine is the best.
Some of
the features our tree crews love is the hydraulic jack stand making
it quicker to load and off load from chipper trucks. The patented Smart
Feed and Feed Stop bar have been tweaked for overall better performance.
Enclosed steel housing for the tail lights, hydraulic chute operation,
and many additional safety features keep performance up and accidents
down. The dual axle suspension system under the BC2000 not only reduces
wheel hopping but our truck drivers love the increased handling and
stability even off-road.
