Tub
Grinders are large tree chippers utilized to minimize large amounts
of lumber to transportable mulch. A Sunstate Tree operates up to 3 grinders/day
throughout Central Florida. The machine you see to the left was utilized
when Orlando neighborhoods were ravished by hurricanes in 2004. For
3 months this machine ran non-stop and is estimated to have ground 30,000
tons of lumber. We have retired this grinder to a quarantined yard for
its semipermanent resting place.
The largest and
flagship of our grinders (Morbark 1600) can minimize roughly 800 yards
of lumber or debris per hour, depending on the material. During a disaster
this machine is a blessing and tends to draw spectators, as it consumes
tons of debris to get communities back to normal. A Sunstate Tree wants
to remind everyone if you do see our Tub Grinders at work, stand
at least 100 yards away from working machinery. These
machines can throw material from the drum occasionally and our staff
is experienced to quarantine the work area safely before use. Please
feel free to call us for more information.

In
order to keep up with the local demand for developers and providing
Disaster Relief throughout Florida. Sunstate Tree owns and maintains
all of its vehicles on property, to provide our clients quick response
for whatever emergency that may arise. Cranes, Boom Trucks, Tub Grinders,
Grappling Trucks, Chippers, Stump Grinders, Wood Splitters, Mulch Trucks,
and the necessary utility vehicles to get the job done right. Sunstate
Tree would like to thank all our employees, for if it wasn't for their
relentless dedication and professionalism during bad weather, our company
would not be where it is today.
